His psionic catalyst was when he read a relic left behind by a god; a manual to ascend to perfect godhood. The power was too much and the action killed him immediately, but he lived on as a memory of the god who authored the tome and eventually was able to split and be his own person once again.
An individual that once had worked alongside Harrison Armories, but split ways after discovering an unstable METAVAULT in empty space. The Archivist attempted to stabilize the information within the METAVAULT by taking it into himself despite being unable to comprehend much of it. Once a Napoleon pilot, his frame is replaced by a LICH the next time he attempts a reprint; one that introduces itself as THE ANIMUS. THE ANIMUS identifies itself as a being with intent to protect and unravel the METAVAULT now stabilized within The Archivist's genetic code.
An individual born an Imperial in Cyrodil, but fleeing to Skyrim near the end of the Third Era during the time of the oblivion crisis. It is in Skyrim that he first makes contact with Hermaeus Mora, and is quickly accepted under the daedra's metaphorical wing as a seeker of knowledge. Hermaeus Mora grants Eduard the Oghma Infinium after he proves himself a worthy experiment.
